My philosophy is that if you make something everyone likes, no one will love it either. I strive to make art that is unique, meaningful, and unconventional. I can make commercial pieces, but I prefer to make art that is personal to my story. I work with a variety of media including graphic design, woodworking, sculpture, relief printmaking, drawing, beading, and painting.

I am inspired by artists such as Tibor Kalman, Van Gogh, and Picasso who were not afraid to embrace their imperfections and attempt to pave the path for something new. I hope to do the same.

I have struggled with mental health my whole life, and more recently physical challenges. I have a soft spot for anyone who doesn’t fit the ‘norm’ and I want to help in any way I can.

Authenticity is important to me because it inspires vulnerability, reduces stigma, and brings people closer together. I hope that by sharing my story, people who go through similar struggles will come out of the shadows and help each other feel less alone.

I want the world to see that “disability” is a two-sided coin. Our struggles and experiences make us stronger and wiser in other areas of our lives. Everyone brings something unique to the table, so it is a waste to resist diversity.
